A Garden in 2010 - Free Garden Plots Offered to the CommunityDresden – Have you ever wanted to learn how to garden, grow vegetables, and have fun at the same time with fellow gardeners? Maybe you are a gardener, but don’t have space to garden. Sue Farrar, Vice-President of the Dresden Horticultural Society is taking requests from individuals and families who want to grow a garden in the Dresden community garden this spring. Tools, sectioned garden plot, teaching and seeds are offered free of charge to anyone interested in growing healthy food. “A community garden is like a social club and it’s a wonderful way to learn new skills and garden with new friends”, says Farrar.
